As early fall approaches, the McBee Farm & Cattle Co. is gearing up for one of its most cherished annual traditions: Kids in the Outdoors (KITO) Day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This heartwarming event brings 20 to 40 children from poverty-stricken areas in Kansas City out to the farm for a day filled with adventure, learning, and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day offers an incredible variety of activities, including fishing, horseback riding, archery, volleyball, and outdoor cooking, along with countless opportunities to explore the land and enjoy the freedom of wide-open spaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many of these children, it\u2019s their first real experience connecting with farm life\u2014and it often leaves a lasting impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe credit so much of who we are to the lessons we learned growing up on a farm\u2014responsibility, patience, and respect for the outdoors,\u201d the McBee family shared. \u201cTo be able to give these kids a chance to experience that, even for a day, is something really special.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
