Nick Cannon\u00a0has hit back at\u00a0claims he forks out $3million a year\u00a0in child support and said the real figure is much higher.<\/h4>\n

The 41-year-old talk show host is currently awaiting the birth of his 12th child, after\u00a0becoming a dad-of-11 just last week. Abby De La Rose, who Nick already shares twin sons with, gave birth to daughter Beautiful on Friday.<\/p>\n

Alyssa Scott is\u00a0pregnant with the comedian’s upcoming arrival. The duo welcomed baby Zen in 2021, but their 5-month-old son tragically died that December after a battle with brain cancer.<\/p>\n

Nick is now trying to set the record straight about how much he provides for his family, after legal expert Goldie Schon estimated it to be around $3million.<\/p>\n

“I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child,” he said in an interview with the\u00a0Neighbourhood Talk.<\/p>\n

Goldie, a California practicing family law attorney, said Nick is “an extremely high-income earner”, which means he would pay a massive amount of money in child support.<\/p>\n

“Dad is clearly a public figure and makes a substantial income. The lifestyle has to be the same with mom as it is with dad,” she told\u00a0The Sun.<\/p>\n

Nick first became a dad back in April 2011, when he and his then-wife Mariah Carey welcome twins Moroccan and Monroe.<\/p>\n

After their split, the TV personality welcomed three children each with Brittany Bell and Abby De La Rosa.<\/p>\n

Brittany gave birth to son Golden in February 2017 and daughter Powerful in December 2020, followed by son Rise this September.<\/p>\n

Abby gave birth to the pair’s twins sons Zion and Zillion in June 2021.<\/p>\n

Nick is also the father of son Legendary, 4 months, with Bre Tiesi, as well as daughter Onyx, 2 months, with Lanisha Cole.<\/p>\n

The former Nickelodeon star has spoken out about how he doesn’t believe in monogamy.<\/p>\n

“It all starts with honesty,” he said. “It\u2019s really just surface, basic stuff. One of my therapists coined what I do as consensual non-monogamy.<\/p>\n

“Because to even pretend like I\u2019m in a monogamous relationship, that would be misleading.<\/p>\n
