Several months later, Savannah praised Nanny Faye for being a \u201cchamp\u201d throughout chemotherapy, noting that her grandmother wasn\u2019t letting cancer keep her from doing what she loves \u2014 visiting her favorite casino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“She would get her chemo treatment, the next day she would be down for the count and then after that, she’d be in the car on the way to the casino,” Savannah said Unlocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2023, Nanny Faye revealed on her granddaughter Lindsie\u2019s show, The Southern Tea, that she was in remission after first receiving her diagnosis two years prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My grandchildren are good to me \u2026 I love each and every one of them,\u201d Nanny she said. \u201cAs far as my health, everyone knows I\u2019ve had bladder cancer. I\u2019m in remission, thank God. I\u2019ve been out moving around, doing the best I can.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has a special bond with Todd\u2019s wife, Julie<\/p>\n\n\n\n
