I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"510\" height=\"835\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12181\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3.png 510w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/3-183x300.png 183w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chase Chrisley Collection founder admitted that he was \u201cscared\u201d to enter treatment, adding, &#8220;I just gotta find myself.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amid his son\u2019s decision, Todd\u2014who is also dad to&nbsp;<strong>Savannah<\/strong>, 28,&nbsp;<strong>Grayson<\/strong>, 19, and granddaughter&nbsp;<strong>Chloe<\/strong>, 11, with wife&nbsp;<strong>Julie Chrisley<\/strong>\u2014had words of encouragement for his son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-769-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-769-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-769-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-769-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-769.png 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;My life&#8217;s story is not going to be that I went to prison for 28 months,\u201d the family patriarch told his son, referencing the time he spent in prison after being convicted\u2014and later pardoned\u2014for federal tax invasion charges. \u201cYour life story does not have to be that I had an alcohol and substance abuse problem. That&#8217;s not your life&#8217;s story. That&#8217;s a part. That&#8217;s a chapter.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todd\u2014who also shares kids&nbsp;<strong>Lindsie<\/strong>, 36, and&nbsp;<strong>Kyle<\/strong>, 34, with ex-wife&nbsp;<strong>Teresa Terry<\/strong>\u2014admitted that he was better prepared to handle Chase\u2019s struggles after working through his eldest son\u2019s addiction problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;You know, I thought going through this with Kyle would kill me,&#8221; Todd said after dropping Chase off at the facility. &#8220;But maybe it was preparation for what I&#8217;m going through today. I&#8217;m sad, and I&#8217;m leaving [knowing] that I had to bring my son to a rehab. I&#8217;m sad that I&#8217;m getting on a plane and he&#8217;s not with me.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"759\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-768.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-768.png 1024w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-768-300x222.png 300w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-768-768x569.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Even though we&#8217;ve been through a lot,\u201d he added. \u201cI truly believe that God did not bring us this far to drop this off and that God will keep a protective edge around my son and the healing hand on him at all times. It&#8217;s because that&#8217;s what I pray for all of my children every day and every night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And while he had the support of his father, Chase\u2019s\u00a0struggles\u00a0caused a rift in his relationship with sister\u00a0Savannah and ultimately caused him to miss the family\u2019s first joint sit-down television interview following his parents prison release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After spending some time in the program, Chase apologized to the&nbsp;<em>Unlocked<\/em>&nbsp;podcast host with hopes of rekindling their relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I&#8217;m beyond proud of you,\u201d Chase told Savannah during a Zoom call. \u201cI&#8217;m beyond thankful for the steps that you took and the responsibility that you carried because, like, I was a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-770-1024x683.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12183\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-770-1024x683.png 1024w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-770-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-770-768x512.png 768w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-770.png 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After Savannah accepted and noted that she felt the pressure of holding her family together while her parents were in prison, Chase vowed to do better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;What I can do is show up for you now and in the future, because I can&#8217;t go back and change anything,\u201d he tearfully told his sister. \u201cBut, I&#8217;m sorry, Savannah. And, I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accepting her brother\u2019s apology, Savannah declared, &#8220;I love you, and I&#8217;m here if you need me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I&#8217;m proud of you for taking the steps that you&#8217;ve taken,\u201d she added. \u201cYou&#8217;ve always had so much potential, if you just let yourself fall into and work for it, and I&#8217;m proud of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the end, Chase\u2019s decision to get sober\u2014which he announced in March\u2014was all about making sure he could show up for his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I&#8217;ve learned that time is the only thing that money can&#8217;t buy back,\u201d Chase said in a side interview. \u201cSo, I&#8217;m not going to waste it arguing over small, petty things that don&#8217;t really matter at the end of the day.
