Todd Chrisley<\/strong>\u00a0revealed that eldest son\u00a0Kyle Chrisley<\/strong>\u00a0visited him \u201cone time\u201d in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI did get an apology from Kyle,\u201d Todd, 56, said during The Chrisleys: Back to Reality<\/em> series finale on Tuesday, September 16. \u201cI was in a state of shock. He hugged me and went to the vending machine and bought me a drink.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todd said that he and Kyle, 34, \u201csat and talked\u201d during the visit. (Todd shares son Kyle with ex-wife Teresa Terry<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe apologized for his involvement [and] for the things he had done,\u201d he continued. \u201cAnd he said, \u2018If I could take them back I would but I can\u2019t and I\u2019m asking can we just pick up from here and move forward.\u2019 And that wasn\u2019t possible for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, spent 28 months in prison after being convicted of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud charges in 2022. They were released from prison after being pardoned by President Donald Trump<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m ecstatic. Truly,\u201d Kyle said in a statement to E! News<\/em> at the time. \u201cI just found out a little bit ago and I still just can\u2019t believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cI know they can\u2019t wait to get home and just be with family, and I\u2019m going to remain hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle also praised his sister Savannah Chrisley<\/strong> for her part in Todd and Julie\u2019s pardon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know Savannah had been working at this for so long and she never gave up,\u201d he added. \u201cSo I\u2019m just grateful to her and to President Trump for making this happen for my dad and Julie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyle is the biological father to Chloe Chrisley<\/strong>, who was adopted by Todd and Julie prior to their time in prison. Savannah, 28, was her legal guardian while they were incarcerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHer mother let us have her every other weekend. And then, every other weekend turned into every other week,\u201d she said, referring to Kyle\u2019s ex Angela Johnson<\/strong>. \u201cI\u2019ll never forget her calling my parents one day, saying, \u2018I need you to come get Chloe. We don\u2019t have anywhere to stay and I can\u2019t have her sleep in the car.\u2019 She signed over custody completely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todd never \u201cterminated\u201d Kyle\u2019s parental rights to Chloe until he had to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy dad could never bring himself to do it and to terminate their rights,\u201d Savannah continued. \u201cBut they had to do that to make sure that when they left, that Kyle or Angela couldn\u2019t come back and get her.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
