(Atlanta News First) &#8211; A representative for reality TV celebrity Chase Chrisley said an incident at a Buckhead sports bar that ended with the star\u2019s arrest has been \u201cblown out of proportion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chrisley, the son of Todd and Julie Chrisley from the USA Network show \u201cChrisley Knows Best,\u201d was charged with simple battery and released from jail last Thursday after paying a $10,000 bond, Fulton County Jail records show. But Adam Ambrose claimed on Monday that the 28-year-old didn\u2019t hurt anyone, according to a statement obtained by the Associated Press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cChase Chrisley had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home,\u201d Ambrose said in a statement. \u201cHe did not assault anyone. Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Jan. 6, an employee at Twin Peaks off Piedmont Road NE in Buckhead called police, saying that Chrisley slapped him twice. Chrisley was allegedly drunk and belligerent, lashing out when the employee asked him to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chrisley is best known for his connection to his Atlanta-based parents, who were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlantanewsfirst.com\/2024\/04\/19\/reality-tvs-chrisleys-are-appealing-their-bank-fraud-tax-evasion-convictions-federal-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">convicted<\/a>\u00a0of federal charges related to bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022. He also starred in a show featuring him and his sister Savannah, \u201cGrowing Up Chrisley,\u201d which aired from 2019 to 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ATLANTA, Ga.
