Teresa Giudice found herself in an awkward position on The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s May 2 episode when her then-fianc\u00e9 and now-husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, revealed a little bit too much information about one of their upcoming pre-wedding events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Louie, more specifically, admitted that he didn’t plan to invite Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga to said event. “I’m going to send a text out for next Thursday night. So, who am I sending a text to? Dolores [Catania] plus one, Margaret [Josephs] plus one, Jennifer [Aydin] plus one, Jackie [Goldschneider] plus one, those people,” Louie told Teresa over the phone. “[I’m] just [gonna] put the invite out to all of them, except Melissa and Joe. I’m not inviting them.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teresa, who was on her way to her surprise bridal shower with Milania Giudice and Audriana Giudice, immediately shut down the suggestion \u2014 but not before providing some important context. “The camera’s on,” she said. “We’re filming.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Oh s–t, okay,” Louie replied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You have to invite everyone,” Teresa insisted. “You can’t just do some and not the others.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple said goodbye after that, and in conversation with her daughters, Teresa doubled down on her assertion that Melissa and Joe would be invited to the event regardless of all the family drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milania, for her part, didn’t understand “why” her mom was making the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When you’re upset and angry, that takes more energy,” Teresa explained. “Don’t you agree? To be happy feels good.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanding upon her reasoning in a confessional, Teresa added, “I don’t like to tell the kids everything that’s going on with my brother and Melissa, unless I have to tell them. There’s no reason to tell them anything right now. The wedding’s a week away, I’m so close to my happy ever after.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
