Chrisley Knows Best<\/strong>\u00a0alum\u00a0Chase Chrisley<\/strong>\u00a0shared that he turned to alcohol during a time in his life when he tried to bury the traumas he endured, leaving him in rehab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase spoke about his addiction to alcohol:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On The Chrisley\u2019s: Back to Reality<\/strong>, an emotional Chase said it\u2019s \u201cJust a lot of emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried. I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase admitted that he was \u201cscared\u201d to enter treatment. \u201cI just gotta find myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase\u2019s family chimed in:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following his recent pardon from federal prison, Todd Chrisley <\/strong>offered words of encouragement to Chase. \u201cMy life\u2019s story is not going to be that I went to prison for 28 months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour life story does not have to be that I had an alcohol and substance abuse problem. That\u2019s not your life\u2019s story, that\u2019s a part \u2026 that\u2019s a chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Todd admitted he was better prepared to handle Chase\u2019s struggles after working through his eldest son Kyle\u2019s addiction problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICYMI, Chase had a run in with the law:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In January,\u00a0Chase was arrested\u00a0for simple battery. He was released on $10k bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police report stated officers from the Atlanta Police Department responded to a call from a local Twin Peaks Sports Bar on Jan. 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general manager \u201cidentified\u201d Chase as the person who assaulted him. The report notes that Chase \u201cwas no longer on [the] scene\u201d upon the officers\u2019 arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase allegedly \u201cbecame really drunk\u201d at the bar and \u201cstarted to act very disrespectful and belligerent\u201d as per the police report. The manager asked him to leave \u201cmultiple times.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, Chase allegedly refused and later \u201cslapped him in the face twice.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
