Federal prosecutors accused him of scheming his way into millions of dollars in crop insurance subsidies. He pleaded guilty and wound up getting two years behind bars and having to pay restitution. He\u2019s spending quality time with his dogs and making the best of a messy situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve McBee Sr. was sentenced to two years in prison<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1280\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 720 \/ 1280;\" width=\"720\" controls src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Beautiful-chilly-fall-evening-in-North-Missouri-\ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude0a\ud83d\ude0a.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shortly after receiving the sentence, Steve began posting quotes from Theodore Roosevelt on Instagram and sharing bible scriptures. Bravo\u2019s The Daily Dish grabbed a screenshot of one Instagram Story this weekend, where he referenced Romans 8:28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose,\u201d Steve quoted, over a picture of his two dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-849.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-849.png 1024w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-849-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-849-768x512.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apparently, the McBee patriarch received an outpouring of support from fans throughout the ordeal. He addressed the \u201cnumber of messages\u201d he received leading up to the sentence in another Instagram Story. He said he felt \u201clucky\u201d to have so many \u201chigh character young people\u201d in his life, per a report from People.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve said, \u201cI count my blessings every day for my family and the support they give me and for my extended family that continues to grow each and every day. Until then, he\u2019s attending to business as usual in Gallatin, Missouri.
