In addition to his two-year sentence, McBee also received another two years of supervised release, and he\u2019ll have to pay over $4 million in restitution. He admitted to making a false report to Rain and Hail, a company reinsured by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation. He also underreported his 2018 corn crop by submitting \u201cfraudulent documents\u201d to Rain and Hail, per a Department of Justice press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1005.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14419\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1005.png 576w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1005-240x300.png 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Per the release, \u201cMcBee admitted that he engaged in fraudulent activity from 2018 to 2020 that caused an economic loss to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.\u201d He must pay the entire loss claimed by the government ($4,022,123) in restitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"636\" height=\"358\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1006.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14420\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1006.png 636w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1006-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 636px) 100vw, 636px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McBee \u201cunderreported his total 2018 corn crop by approximately 674,812 bushels and underreported his total 2018 soybean crop by approximately 155,833 bushels,\u201d according to the release. Because of these false reports, he received $2,605,943 in federal crop insurance benefits that he should not have been entitled to, along with $552,980 crop insurance premium subsidies he was not entitled to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">McBee appeared on Season 1 of his family\u2019s reality show McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, but did not come back for Season 2 as he awaited his sentencing.
