On top of that, he will also be subject to two years of supervised release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His plea with federal prosecutors, per the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office in the Western District of Missouri, required the defendant to admit \u201che engaged in fraudulent activity from 2018 to 2020 that caused an economic loss to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.\u201d He was charged with illegally obtaining more than $3 million from insurance monies by underreporting corn and soybean crop yields, a crime that had him facing 30 years of incarceration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"862\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1059.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1059.png 862w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1059-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1059-768x512.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 862px) 100vw, 862px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He now has until December 1 to turn himself over to the Federal Prison Camp in Yankton, South Dakota, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How the McBee family responded to Steven McBee Sr.&#8217;s sentencing<br>The outcome of Steven Sr.\u2019s legal woes weighed heavily over the farm and the family legacy to be taken on by his four adult sons, as seen on the entire Season 2 of the Bravo series. Through it all, those stepping up to the plate \u2014 including Steven McBee Jr., Jesse McBee, Cole McBee, and Brayden McBee \u2014 continue to have their dad\u2019s back.
