The patriarch of the family pleaded guilty in 2024 for filing multiple false insurance claims. At the time, he faced up to 30 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"631\" height=\"773\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1107.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14561\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1107.png 631w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-1107-245x300.png 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 631px) 100vw, 631px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, when sentencing was finally concluded, he ended up with a much-reduced sentence. The court sentenced him to two years (24 months) in prison and fined him $4 million in restitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The whole ordeal has been pretty difficult for the family and everyone involved.
