In other words, he falsified reports for the family\u2019s Gallatin, Mo., farm in order to receive subsidies and insurance payments they weren\u2019t authorized to get. In a memo from Oct. 6, prosecutors asked U.S. District Court Judge Stephen R. Bough to sentence McBee to 41 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release and more than $4 million in restitution. (Update: as reported by People, McBee was sentenced to 24 months in prison with $4 million in restitution. The judge ordered him to report on Dec. 1.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What happened to Steve from The McBee Family Dynasty? Because of these legal problems, McBee appeared only twice in the show\u2019s second season, after taking center stage in Season 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-51.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14706\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-51.png 750w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-51-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to ratings provided by Bravo, Season 2 of \u201cThe McBee Dynasty\u201d \u2014 which ran from June 30-Sept. 1 \u2014 averaged 1.3 million weekly viewers across platforms. Compared with Season 1, its ratings were up 82% on Peacock and 213% on DVR. The second half of the 10-episode season showed gains of +16% on Peacock and +8% on Bravo through seven-day viewership. In an interesting statistic, about one-third of the second season\u2019s \u201cMcBee\u201d audience, Bravo says, \u201cco-viewed with someone else on both Bravo and Peacock, making it a Top 4 Original Series of 2025 on both platforms \u2013 fueled by female viewers watching with male viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-52.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14707\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-52.png 768w, https:\/\/topkeynews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-52-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Steve McBee Sr.\u2019s absence, the second season focused on Steven Jr. and his brothers Jesse McBee and Cole, as they tried to save the farm and engaged in their messy personal lives.
