During a heartfelt conversation between the father and son, Todd reflected on their similarities, saying,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChase is becoming more like me every single day \u2014 he\u2019s basically a copy of me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Todd then asked his son how he felt during the time both he and his wife, Julie Chrisley<\/strong>, were serving their prison sentences \u2014 a moment that changed the entire family dynamic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chase didn\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was awful,\u201d he admitted. \u201cLife just fell apart. Our family broke apart, we stopped filming, and everything that used to be normal was gone. I thought when you guys left, I\u2019d stop drinking to celebrate \u2014 but instead, I started drinking to cope.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He continued,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m just not someone who can handle alcohol, and I know that now. But it got to a point where it was damaging so many of my relationships \u2014 especially with Savannah. That\u2019s when I knew I needed help.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Chase says he\u2019s now in a much better place, both personally and spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve worked on myself, and now Savannah and I are rebuilding our relationship. We\u2019re talking again, healing, and I\u2019m so grateful to God for that,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The reality star also offered words of encouragement for others struggling with addiction:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
