Teresa Giudice is clapping back at critics questioning her reconciliation with Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked to address speculation that the newfound relationship is for the cameras only or not genuine \u2014 especially amid The Real Housewives of New Jersey series\u2019 indefinite hiatus \u2014 Teresa explained that she is trying not to pay attention to any negative noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPeople who say that have a mean heart. I\u2019m just saying, a mean soul,\u201d she said at the three-day conference in Las Vegas. \u201cEverybody should want family to be together. I want to show America what a real Italian family looks like. My ex\u2019s family? They are all together, united. That\u2019s what I always wanted. I want to show America that we could be united, and I want to show our children that too. It\u2019s really important.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, November 14, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs reacted to Teresa making peace with Joe and Melissa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want it to be genuine, for the sake of Melissa and Joe. I know it\u2019s genuine on their part,\u201d Margaret told<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One family member thrilled at the reconciliation is Teresa\u2019s oldest daughter, Gia Giudice. (Teresa also shares Gabrielle, Milania and Audriana with ex-husband Joe Giudice.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like a weight lifted off of my chest. I\u2019ve always wanted this since I was little,\u201d Gia told<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always wanted this, and I\u2019m just so happy that we\u2019re coming to this place. The thought of getting close again to her uncle Joe also leaves Gia excited for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe was my best friend,\u201d she explained. \u201cI think it\u2019s a relationship that we\u2019re both excited to rebuild and work on.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the weekend, both Melissa and Teresa posted family photos in Sin City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t question it \u2014 Just support it,\u201d Melissa wrote via Instagram on Saturday, highlighting the long-awaited family reunion. \u201c#family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving forward, Teresa wants to continue moving forward as she prepares to celebrate the holidays with more peace and love instead of drama and hate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m the oldest, and my brother says I\u2019m the matriarch of the family, and he wants me to lead the ship,\u201d she said. \u201cI have no problem leading the ship, but I\u2019m very old school, and I\u2019m about loyalty, respect and peace.
