The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter\u2019s boyfriend, Travis Mullen, had custody with one of his children \u201csuspended\u201d temporarily as part of his bitter court battle with his ex-wife, Meghan Mullen, Us Weekly can exclusively report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a hearing on October 30, an Orange County Superior Court judge denied Travis\u2019 request for an emergency custody order that would have awarded him sole custody of their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The judge also decided to suspend Travis\u2019 time with one of his three children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A hearing will be held on November 18, where Travis, 40, and Meghan will argue their respective cases in court. The judge appointed a lawyer to represent their children, Joseph, born in 2016, Bennett, born in 2014, and Presley, born in 2011, and to ensure their best interests are considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Us first reported, Travis filed court docs on October 29 demanding sole custody and Meghan having monitored visitation. (Travis and Meghan got married in 2010 and split in 2016.) The exes have shared joint legal and physical custody of their kids since November 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis said Meghan had not allowed him to see one of his children since September 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his declaration, Travis said he had reached out to \u201clocal police\u201d to have officers enforce the custody order. He said \u201cthey have not been helpful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis wrote, \u201cI am concerned for [the son\u2019s welfare] and feel that the \u2018system\u2019 has completely failed him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis behavior on the part of [Meghan] has been occurring for over a year and I feel that nobody is advocating [for his son]. I need assistance from the court to ensure that [his son\u2019s] needs are met, that my son and I continue to have a close and loving relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis said one of the kids had missed a lot of school, and school officials were threatening to call the District Attorney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meghan fired back at Travis\u2019 claims in court docs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTravis continues to misuse the court process to get his way,\u201d Meghan said. \u201cHis [court] filings appear intended to punish and control me, not to protect the children. Travis is using the family court system as a tool of coercive control and retaliation. In addition to litigation abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meghan told the court the son who Travis said she was keeping from him does not want to see Travis. She said she had been working on the school issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her paperwork, Meghan also alleged that Travis\u2019 \u201cmedia appearances\u201d had caused their children to be \u201cexposed\u201d to strangers commenting on their lives. Travis adamantly denied his time on RHOC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

harmed their children, who he pointed out did not appear on the reality show.
The exes both accused the other of blocking phone time with their kids. Travis denied that he interfered with his children talking to Meghan.\u201cThis is another false allegation offered by [Meghan]. It was actually [Meghan] that would deny me phone contact with the children,\u201d he said. \u201cFurther, I have never punished the children for wanting to talk to their mother, and never said that they could not call their mom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
