Gina Kirschenheiter revealed her recent medical issues as she thought she was \u201cdying.\u201d The Real Housewives of Orange County star shared what her doctor told her, and claimed her diet was \u201ctrying to kill me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her DUI in 2019, Gina gave up alcohol and hasn\u2019t looked back. In the past, she\u2019s shared how her decision to quit positively affected her life. On the latest season, she bonded with Shannon Beador, who was arrested after a DUI crash in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo I have had some medical issues in the past couple of months,\u201d said Gina. \u201cI have been going to bed every night, and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I start to get vertigo, and then all through the night, I have it, and when I wake up, it\u2019s so bad. And so I\u2019m finally like, okay, now I think I\u2019m dying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m like, I have to go to the doctor. So I go to the doctor,\u201d she continued. \u201c[The doctor said] it\u2019s very odd [as] it\u2019s only happening at night \u2026 [I\u2019ve had] a significant amount of weight gain \u2026 I don\u2019t drink, so that\u2019s good. [But] I\u2019m a sweet treat person. So I\u2019ll eat candy at night or I\u2019ll eat ice cream at night or both of those things and then I go to bed. And [my doctor asked] how much water do you drink? And I was like, oh, I don\u2019t drink water. She\u2019s like, okay, well, medically, there is nothing wrong with you. So as it turns out, she thinks\/suspects that it\u2019s diet [and water] related.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gina claimed she followed the doctor\u2019s orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo I go home and then last night is the first night that I literally had no treats of any kind before I went to bed,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd for the first morning in literally three months, [I woke up with] no vertigo and no dizziness, nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gina said her ex-husband gifted her a large water bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cApparently it turns out when you\u2019re a certain age \u2014 medical breakthrough \u2014 what we put in our bodies actually does physically affect us \u2026 I literally was so naive [thinking], \u2018I don\u2019t drink, so I\u2019m healthy.\u2019 I thought I could do whatever I wanted,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd literally, my diet was actually trying to kill me in the night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
