According to court records reviewed by PEOPLE, The Real Housewives of Orange County star was pulled over by police while in Orange County, Calif., on May 21.RHOC fan gear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beador, 61, was cited for \u201cdriving while operating a handheld wireless telephone or electronic wireless communications device.\u201d Although she was cited and released, she has until July 11 to pay the fine, which is $20 for the first offense and $50 for each subsequent offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reps for Beador did not immediately return PEOPLE\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrest comes amid Beador\u2019s three-year probation following her alleged DUI hit and run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beador\u2019s probation is set to end on November 1, 2026, according to court records reviewed by PEOPLE, and stems from her arrest on Sept. 17, 2023.TV Reality Shows<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, the Newport Beach Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that Beador was \u201carrested at 1:17 a.m. on Sept. 17 after fleeing the scene from a collision that caused property damage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After allegedly abandoning her car in the middle of the road, police found her walking her dog, according to an initial report by TMZ. Law enforcement officials told the outlet, which was the first to report the news, that she had a .24 blood alcohol level, which is three times the legal limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NBPD told PEOPLE that Beador had been \u201cbooked for two misdemeanors \u2014 hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. She was released on a citation.\u201dFilm release calendar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to her probation, the reality star was ordered to pay $390 in fines, complete 40 hours of community service, and complete a 9-month alcohol program in November 2023, per court records reviewed by PEOPLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her lawyer, Michael L. Fell, told PEOPLE at the time that Beader was \u201cextremely apologetic and remorseful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions,\u201d said Fell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While reflecting on the experience in a July 2024 conversation with PEOPLE, Beador said she \u201cmade a very stupid choice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI could have killed someone,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd part of my therapy has been trying to move past that guilt and shame. You say to yourself, \u2018I could have killed someone\u2026 but I didn\u2019t.\u2019 So I don\u2019t want it to appear that I\u2019m taking any of this lightly, because there\u2019s not a day that goes by that I don\u2019t think about it. But I didn\u2019t hurt someone, and I\u2019m grateful for that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
