During \u201cLas Culturistas\u201d podcast hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers\u2019 appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Monday, August 4, Rogers, 35, wished for the return of RHONJ during his brief (but powerful) \u201cI Don\u2019t Think So, Honey\u201d rant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOK, I don\u2019t think so, honey \u2014 I love ya \u2014 we need answers about New Jersey,\u201d Rogers told Cohen, 57. \u201cI am an American standing on American ground and while we still have free speech, you\u2019re on notice Andy Cohen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cohen, meanwhile, jokingly turned his chair around during Rogers\u2019 moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rogers explained he wants Giudice and her husband, Luis \u201cLouie\u201d Ruelas, to have their own show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cohen responded with a pretty surprising update about RHONJ.\u201cWe\u2019re close,\u201d he said, playing coy about what that actually means.RHONJ has been put on a hiatus following its 14th season, which ended in August 2024 with most of the cast at odds. (The season\u2019s reunion was canceled after several stars couldn\u2019t be in the same room together.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2024, Cohen told Us Weekly that fans wouldn\u2019t get a RHONJ update for a \u201cyear.\u201d Us confirmed the following February that there have been no casting decisions made, despite fans wanting answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll of them have been in contact with production, but not with any news,\u201d a source told Us at the time. \u201cThere\u2019s still an open line of communication but no news on who is coming back or who is not coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same insider shared that \u201cproduction wants the show to come back\u201d and is willing to \u201csee how they can make it work.\u201dReality TV updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cohen has been faced with several questions about the future of RHONJ over recent months, sharing that there won\u2019t be any news until 2026. Monday\u2019s WWHL episode marked the first time he gave any hint at an upcoming announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season 14 of RHONJ starred Giudice along with Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral. Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler appeared as \u201cfriends.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
