What began as a supposed relaxing getaway to Palm Springs, California, quickly spiraled into a high-stakes casino &#8220;raid.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Relaxation to &#8220;Personal ATM&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chase recalled that his original plan for the California trip involved nothing more than golfing and lounging by the pool. However, the moment they touched down, Nanny Faye was ready for action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t even know there were casinos there,&#8221; Chase began. &#8220;She looked at me and said, &#8216;Let&#8217;s go.&#8217; I said, &#8216;We haven&#8217;t even landed yet, go where?&#8217; She said, &#8216;To the casino. After Chase had a successful run at the tables, Nanny Faye insisted on keeping the momentum going. As soon as their plane touched down back in Nashville\u2014a city with no casinos\u2014she commanded him to get in the car and drive straight to Indiana because they were &#8220;on a roll.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The &#8220;Gas Money&#8221; Tactic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The highlight of the story involved Nanny Faye\u2019s creative accounting. Even though she had a massive pile of winning chips sitting right in front of her, she coolly told him: <em>&#8220;I need money to play with&#8230; that [pile] doesn&#8217;t matter.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;She\u2019s Always Getting Into Something&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Savannah, 26, laughed along with her brother, noting that their grandmother is a constant source of mischief who keeps the entire family on their toes. <em>&#8220;She&#8217;s always getting into something! Always,&#8221;<\/em> Savannah added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Longtime fans of <em>Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> are well-aware of Nanny Faye\u2019s love for the floor. Chase even reminisced about an old episode where his father, Todd Chrisley, tasked him with watching her in Las Vegas, only for her to disappear into the crowds. At the time, Todd famously asked: <em>&#8220;How do you lose a 200-pound old woman?&#8221;<\/em> to which Chase replied: <em>&#8220;She moves fast!
