Mounjaro, which like Ozempic is an injectable originally developed to treat diabetes, has been taken by celebrities ranging from Meghan Trainor to Whoopi Goldberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although hair loss is not listed as a side effect of the drug, it can be a temporary result of hormonal changes or nutrient deficiencies that come with rapid weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I am very lucky that I have so much hair, because at the rate that I\u2019ve been losing hair, I\u2019m gonna be bald in about a week,’ she joked on TikTok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I started Mounjaro about four months ago, and I would say like maybe for the past three weeks to a month, I\u2019ve noticed a dramatic hair loss situation.’Sophia indicated that ‘all throughout the day,’ if she tugs even gently at her hair, clumps of it will come out in her hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
