Kelly Brook\u00a0has recalled how the fashion industry has changed over recent years.<\/h4>\n

The iconic pin-up, 42, remembers being given a ‘maternity bra’ during her first ever fitting as a teen and gushes over how amazing it is these days to be able to purchase glamorous sets of underwear and swimwear when sporting a larger-than-average bust size.<\/p>\n

Kelly – who\u00a0tied the knot for the first time over the summer\u00a0– explained how she was left feeling like an ‘outsider’ back in the day because of her famous curves and stressed the importance for designers to create clothes with women of every shape and size in mind.<\/p>\n

“Working with fashion brands is always something I have loved but not all of them were always open to me because of my shape. I was very curvy and not what was considered a fashionable shape,” Kelly says when discussing how the fashion industry has changed for the better.<\/p>\n

The star adds: “The fashion industry has changed so much, even buying glamorous sets of underwear and swimwear used to be impossible if you were over a C cup.”<\/p>\n

Speaking with The Sun, Kelly goes on to recall being given a ‘maternity bra’ during her first ever fitting when she was around 14 years old, admitting it was ‘not a nice feeling’.<\/p>\n

She adds how she always felt like an ‘outsider’ due to her world-famous curves so has designed her new F&F range with that in mind and a consideration that women come in all different shapes, size, ages and heights.<\/p>\n

Kelly opened up about how she handles comments about her body ahead of her wedding<\/p>\n

Ahead of marrying Jeremy Parisi during a lavish \u00a3500,000 Italian wedding celebration in July this year, Kelly spoke with the Mirror about her body confidence.<\/p>\n

The star admitted she finds the interest\u00a0in her body ‘fascinating’ and tends to ignore other people’s comments about her weight.<\/p>\n

The Heart London radio presenter explained how she’s paid ‘very little attention’ to commentary regarding her physique over the years as she doesn’t look in the mirror and scrutinise herself.<\/p>\n

No matter what she does career-wise, thanks to her famous curves and enviable figure Kelly’s body is often a topic of conversation.<\/p>\n

Kelly is baffled by people having an interest in other people’s weight<\/p>\n

“I mean, to be honest, I\u2019ve paid it very little attention [over the years] because it\u2019s just my body that I wake up with every day and I don\u2019t look in the mirror and scrutinise myself,” Kelly confessed when asked how she handles commentary surrounding her body.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve always found it fascinating when people comment if I’ve lost weight, or put on weight, because it\u2019s probably the first time I\u2019ve acknowledged it when someone says it to me.<\/p>\n

“It always baffles me when others have so much to say about other people\u2019s bodies. I think it says more about their own relationship with their own body.”<\/p>\n

Kelly went on to explain how her weight isn’t her main priority in her life and reflected on how she may not have been the best version of herself when sporting a skinner frame.<\/p>\n

“I mean, my priority day-to-day is being a nice, good person, working and trying to be the best version of myself in all capacities,” the star mused.<\/p>\n

“In the past, I\u2019ve been a not very nice person to be around, and really skinny, and other times I\u2019ve been a bit chubbier and been a nice person to be around.”<\/p>\n
