Steven McBee Chosen as Master of Ceremonies for Luminous

Kansas City – The Community Services League (CSL) Luminous Gala will return on November 1st at the Loews Kansas City Hotel, and this year, the honor of serving as Master of Ceremonies has been given to none other than Steven McBee of McBee Dynasty.

Steven shared the news with pride, calling it both an honor and a humbling experience. Reflecting on last year’s gala, he said:
“This event was honestly one of my favorites from 2024, as we raised $306,000 in one night to support the Eastern Jackson County area. From start to finish, it was such a well-ran and well put together event that my entire family enjoyed attending.”

The McBee family also added their own special touch to the evening by auctioning off half beefs from McBee Farms and McBee Meats — a highlight they plan to repeat this year.

More than just a night of glamour, the Luminous Gala is a chance to give back to the community. CSL’s mission focuses on improving lives in Eastern Jackson County through direct support and development programs. Steven promised to share links leading up to the gala, encouraging people to learn more about CSL and how donations make a real impact.

“We can’t wait to do it all again and enjoy such a fun evening for a great cause,” Steven added. “What a special event and special night that we’ll be looking forward to and counting down the days until November 1!”

With excitement building, the community is eagerly awaiting this year’s gala — a night that promises not only celebration but also meaningful contributions toward a brighter future.
