The never-ending drama surrounding the Chrisley family continues to unfold, as Todd Chrisley and his son Chase are speaking out after Lindsie — Todd’s eldest daughter — expressed her desire to remove “Chrisley” from her name and distance herself from the famous reality TV clan.
In the latest episode of his podcast, Todd didn’t hide his disappointment over Lindsie’s decision to “cut ties” with the name that helped build the family’s television empire. According to him, Lindsie’s complaints about being “hurt” by the family’s brand deals are nothing more than an excuse.
“Lindsie says the family hurt her through brand deals, but let’s be honest — that’s the only reason she ever got them in the first place,” Todd said.

Todd went on to accuse his daughter of trying to publicly detach from the Chrisley name while still benefiting from it online.
“If you want to change your name, then do it for real,” Todd stated. “Delete the ‘Chrisley’ from your social media, stop using it for attention, and stop using it to get clicks. You can’t claim you want to move on while still exploiting the name for your benefit.”
While Todd maintained a controlled tone, Chase Chrisley wasn’t nearly as diplomatic. He jumped into the conversation with blunt frustration:
“Let’s just call a spade a spade. She’s mad because she got kicked off the show and doesn’t have that paycheck anymore. She’s bitter over what she did with the government against Dad and Mom, and now she’s just regurgitating the same nonsense she’s been spewing for seven years. I don’t care anymore — just be quiet.”

Todd agreed with Chase, suggesting that the two of them were now in a much “healthier place” and ready to move forward. He also revealed that multiple media outlets had reached out to do stories about Lindsie, but he declined to comment — and those outlets quickly backed off.
“We told them, ‘If you want to ask about Lindsie, go talk to her directly,’” Todd explained. “And they said, ‘That’s exactly why we don’t want to do the story.’”
💍 Lindsie’s Side: She Has Officially Dropped “Chrisley” — and Explained Why
While Todd and Chase were busy voicing their frustrations, Lindsie Chrisley has already taken action.
The Southern Tea podcast host recently changed her last name to “Landsman” on Instagram, adopting the surname of her boyfriend, David Landsman.

The move sparked rumors that the pair may have secretly tied the knot, but it also served as a clear statement: Lindsie is ready to distance herself from the Chrisley family — and from the public drama that has surrounded their name for years.
Lindsie has previously opened up about her long-standing tension with her family, saying she had been “fighting” the Chrisley name for a long time and that their relationship had become “very complicated.”
“I think it’s fair to say that, contrary to what some people believe, the Chrisley name — while it started with Chrisley Knows Best — hasn’t provided income or opportunities for me,” she said on The Southern Tea.
“In fact,” she continued, “the name Chrisley has actually become a major obstacle for me in my career. It’s caused problems in business settings and has even interfered with projects I’ve done since Chrisley Knows Best.”
According to Lindsie, the Chrisley name hasn’t just lost its value — it’s cost her professional opportunities. She claimed that in some cases, she was even asked to use a completely different name to avoid negative associations.
“That name isn’t my identity anymore,” Lindsie said. “I want to be known for who I am — not for being a Chrisley.”
Now going by Lindsie Landsman, it seems the former reality TV star is officially closing the book on her tumultuous past — though the echoes of her family feud are far from over.
