Savannah Chrisley Issues Bold Warning to ‘The View’ Ahead of Guest-Hosting Gig: “I Haven’t Forgotten the Public Bashing of My Family”

Reality TV star Savannah Chrisley is making headlines after confirming she will step in as a guest co-host on ABC’s hit talk show, The View, next week (starting February 16, 2026). However, the appearance comes with a sharp edge, as Savannah issued a stern message to the permanent hosts who have previously targeted her family with harsh criticism.

“Kindness Does Not Equal Amnesia”

In a social media post shared on February 5, Savannah made it clear that she is not afraid of confrontation or sitting across from those who hold opposing views.

“I believe in sitting at the table with people you don’t agree with and refusing to shrink your values to make others feel comfortable. I stand for faith, family, and freedom,” Savannah declared.

But she didn’t stop there, directly addressing the tension between her and the panel: “Let me be clear: I have not forgotten the public bashing of my family by some of the voices on this show. Kindness does not equal amnesia.”

The Root of the Conflict

The friction between Savannah and the hosts of The View—including Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin—stems from the legal saga of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley.

Following the couple’s pardon by President Donald Trump in May 2025 for bank fraud and tax evasion charges, the panel was vocal in their disapproval. Joy Behar famously suggested the pardon proved that “if you’re a reality star with money who cheats on taxes, you get a pardon,” while Ana Navarro labeled the move “unethical.” Most inflammatory to Savannah, however, were comments questioning what she might have “done” to secure the pardon for her parents.

Challenging Herself for the Sake of Unity

Despite her lingering resentment, Savannah shared on her Unlocked podcast that she accepted the invitation to push herself out of her comfort zone. She expressed hope that her appearance could “open doors for more unity and less division.”

As a staunch Trump supporter, Savannah’s seat at the table—filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin while she is on maternity leave—is expected to spark fiery debates and drive high ratings for the show throughout the week.

Fans remain divided: some praise Savannah for her courage to stand her ground, while others have threatened to boycott the show, accusing her of “collaborating” with the very people who disparaged her family.
