After years as one of the franchise’s most outspoken stars, Margaret Josephs is officially stepping away from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
A Personal Decision
In an Instagram video shared on March 24, Josephs confirmed she will not return following Season 14. While acknowledging the news may surprise fans, she made it clear the decision had been in the works for months.
“I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on,” she said, noting that conversations with Andy Cohen and the network began as early as December.
Focusing on Family and New Projects
Josephs explained that major life changes influenced her choice to leave the show. She revealed she is currently working on a new project and wants to dedicate more time to her family and her design career.
“I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break,” she shared.
Despite stepping away from RHONJ, she reassured fans that her television career is far from over. “This will not be the last you see of me,” she added, hinting at upcoming appearances tied to her new venture.

Josephs took a moment to thank Bravo, Cohen, the production team, and her fellow cast members—“the good and the bad”—for their support throughout her seven-season run.
