The finale, airing Monday, September 1 on Bravo, features the highly anticipated wedding of Jesse McBee and his wife, Alli. Wedding preparations have been a central storyline this season, with viewers witnessing the emotional highs and lows leading up to the big day—including a moment where Jesse experiences a panic attack.
At the time, it appeared his breakdown stemmed from family tensions and the pressure of marriage. However, Jesse has since revealed there was much more beneath the surface.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Jesse shared that he and Alli had just learned they were expecting a baby girl during filming—news they chose to keep entirely private.
“I think it was just pent-up anxiety from the wedding and from the years we were dating,” Jesse explained. “What many people don’t know is that we had just found out we were going to have a baby girl.”
The couple conceived on their wedding day in October 2024, but remarkably, they kept the pregnancy a secret from both their family and the production crew throughout the entire filming process.
“We didn’t tell anyone on the film crew, or anyone in the family,” Jesse said. “It all just built up, and I needed to let it out somehow.”
Despite the emotional strain, Jesse noted that the experience ultimately brought him closer to Alli. She became a strong source of support, helping him open up and process his emotions.
Meanwhile, Alli was quietly navigating the challenges of early pregnancy. During the first trimester, she dealt with morning sickness and described those months as particularly difficult. Fortunately, her symptoms eased just in time for their wedding day.
“For some reason, I felt amazing on the wedding day,” Alli shared. “I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. Everything went smoothly—I didn’t have any problems.”
The couple later welcomed their daughter, Summer Leigh, on April 17, 2025—marking a joyful new chapter that fans will now understand was already beginning behind the scenes.
