The former reality star claims Lifetime’s new documentary is a “misrepresentation of the truth” and promises to release legal correspondence and confidential records on her upcoming podcasts.
ATLANTA, GA — The drama surrounding the notorious Chrisley reality TV family seems to have no end. Shortly after Todd and Julie Chrisley were pardoned by President Trump and released from prison, the family is once again being rocked by allegations of extortion and threats from their own flesh and blood.

This time, at the center of the storm is Lindsie Landsman (formerly Lindsie Chrisley). The former star of the hit series Chrisley Knows Best is gearing up to deliver a massive blow to her family following the airing of Lifetime’s documentary, The Chrisleys: Back To Reality.
According to Lindsie, the documentary completely “misrepresents the truth” regarding the family’s rift. Now, she is deciding to take control of the narrative herself.
“They Threatened and Extorted Me”
The relationship between Lindsie and her family hit rock bottom a long time ago, but her upcoming revelations promise to be even more shocking. Landsman alleges that she was forced into silence by family members, made a scapegoat for actions she never committed, and worst of all, extorted by her own blood.
The root of this fallout actually began long before Todd Chrisley was indicted. According to records, Lindsie had contacted the Georgia Department of Revenue and the FBI, while also requesting a restraining order against her biological father. She previously told federal agents that Todd Chrisley tried to exploit her, even threatening to leak her sex tape onto the internet if she refused to lie under oath to protect him in court.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Chrisley family showed no mercy toward Lindsie on national television. In the Lifetime documentary, her younger sister Savannah Chrisley coldly stated: “Prosecutors read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI. We are no longer a family.” Younger brother Chase Chrisley added fuel to the fire with a bitter comment: “If your own flesh and blood will cross you, a stranger definitely will.”
Striking Back with “Hard Evidence”
Instead of giving interviews to the tabloids, Lindsie has chosen to speak out directly through her own podcasts — The Southern Tea and Coffee Convos — which she co-hosts with Teen Mom star Kail Lowry.
Landsman insists she never wanted things to go this far. “I never had any intentions of doing this,” she explained. “The Lifetime documentary on my family aired… and a lot of things shown in it were inaccurate depictions of what actually happened.”

To “reclaim her own story” and protect her peace as a woman and a mother, Lindsie is set to release a trove of evidence, including legal correspondence, emails, and previously undisclosed records.
