The season finale of the docuseries The Chrisleys: Back to Reality concluded with tears and hope as Chase Chrisley officially entered treatment and sought to mend his fractured relationship with his sister, Savannah.
After a long period of grappling with personal demons, Chase Chrisley, 29, has finally decided to face the truth. In the latest episode, the reality star admitted he had tried to bury deep-seated emotional trauma for years, which eventually led to substance abuse.
A Turning Point at the Treatment Center
In a poignant scene, Todd Chrisley accompanied his son on a private jet to an undisclosed treatment facility. Before parting ways, Todd offered his son powerful words of encouragement:
“You have to win this battle. My life story won’t be defined by 28 months in prison, and your life story won’t be about substance abuse issues.”

Despite admitting he felt “scared” to begin the recovery process, Chase expressed his determination to view this as a fresh start to rebuild his life.
A Long-Overdue Apology to Savannah
The highlight of the episode was a candid conversation between Chase and Savannah following a long period of “cold war” between the siblings. Previously, Savannah had publicly criticized her brother for leaving her to shoulder the burden of caring for Grayson and Chloe alone while their parents were incarcerated.

Chase took full responsibility for his absence: “I know you’re mad, but I was struggling with my own issues. I’m sorry for my part in this and for not being there for you more.” He also expressed immense pride in Savannah’s strength in leading the family and her efforts to secure their parents’ release.
Shadows Behind the Camera
While the episode ended on a hopeful note regarding a “new chapter,” the reality outside the show seems more complex. In a recent interview with Nightline, Savannah surprised viewers by revealing that she and Chase actually haven’t spoken in quite some time.

This suggests that while the docuseries captured precious moments of reconciliation, the journey for the Chrisley family to truly heal their internal wounds still requires more time.
