Drama never stops in Orange County — and this time, Tamra Judge is in the spotlight again, publicly responding to ex-husband Simon Barney after he accused her of being a “toxic mom” and “most hated RHOC housewife.”

In a new interview, the Real Housewives of Orange County star candidly shared that she was “tired” of being labeled a toxic mother because of her dramatic arguments on TV. “I know I’ve had a temper, I know I’ve said some bad things, but that doesn’t make me a bad mother,” Tamra said. “The show may make me out to be a villain, but in real life, it’s different.”

Tamra also couldn’t hide her hurt when Simon Barney — her husband of more than a decade — brought up her family issues in public. “It hurt to hear him call me a toxic mom. We have kids together, and that kind of stuff affects the kids,” she said.

The 57-year-old star revealed that she had tried to stay silent for years to keep her children safe, but Simon’s constant comments forced her to speak out. “I tried to change everything. I went to therapy, learned how to control my emotions, tried to be a better mother,” Tamra shared, emphasizing that her journey was not only to repair her public image but also to mend her family relationship.

Although the “most hated RHOC housewife” label has followed her throughout the show, Tamra said she no longer cares about that reputation. “If people still want to call me the most hated person — that’s fine. But I know who I am, and I’m trying every day to be better, not just for the audience but for my children.”

And with the determined line “I tried to change it all,” Tamra Judge sends a strong message: sometimes the hardest thing is not changing other people’s views, but proving to yourself that you deserve forgiveness and a chance to start over.
