In a detailed, multi-page statement released to social media, McBee addressed the controversy head-on, admitting to severe missteps in his reaction to what he describes as a profound betrayal.
According to the statement, McBee was made aware of an incident early Monday morning involving someone he loves deeply. He noted that while he received videos and other details regarding the situation, he will not be sharing them publicly out of respect. Despite feeling “absolute hurt and betrayal” by someone he “fully trusted and planned a life with,” McBee explicitly clarified that this context does not excuse his subsequent behavior.
