In a bold and final statement at BravoCon 2023, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice confirmed that her relationship with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga is officially over. When asked if there was any chance of reconciliation, Teresa responded bluntly: “That chapter is closed.”

Melissa echoed the sentiment in a separate interview, saying, “There’s nothing there. Nothing to say. I’ve set boundaries, and I feel good about it.”

This comes after years of public family feuding, which has played out extensively on RHONJ. The rift deepened in 2022 when Joe and Melissa skipped Teresa’s wedding to Luis Ruelas, following accusations about alleged infidelity that caused tensions to boil over.

The divide is being reflected in season 14 of RHONJ, where both women’s taglines hint at their current stance. Melissa’s reads, “It’s hard not to burn bridges when you’re on fire,” while Teresa’s states, “You can try to take me down, but this ‘Tre’ keeps growing.”

Both sides now seem content to move on. Teresa has said she’s happy focusing on her husband and children, describing her life as peaceful and fulfilled.

Melissa, for her part, said she’s relieved to no longer engage in ongoing family drama and intentionally avoided speaking about Teresa during the new season.

With the Gorga-Giudice chapter closed, major changes may be ahead for RHONJ. Executive producer Andy Cohen recently hinted at a possible cast reboot to reinvigorate the show, potentially shaking up the future of the franchise.
