In a recent conversation with us, Gaby Lozoya – Mexico’s famous weather presenter – opened up about her life behind the spotlight, her journey as a single mother, and why her two sons, Diego and René, are the center of her life.
Reporter: Gaby, thank you for accepting the interview. Would you say you are very focused on your family right now?
Gaby Lozoya: Yes, that’s right. My life now revolves around my two sons – Diego and René. After the turmoil in my marriage, I realized that nothing is more precious than time spent with my children.
Reporter: Are you shy about sharing about your private life, especially when you are a public figure?
Gaby: I used to be quite reserved. But then I thought: why should I hide it? I am a mother, and I am proud of it. I am not perfect, but I always try my best to make my children feel loved and safe.
PV: You once said that your children are your greatest motivation. Can you share more?
Gaby: There are times when I feel exhausted – from work to public pressure. But just seeing Diego and René’s smiles, all fatigue disappears. My children give me a reason to be strong, to continue trying every day.
PV: How do you balance your role as a mother and your television career?
Gaby: I have very clear priorities. Family always comes first. I still work, still appear on television, still run a fashion business – but I never let that overshadow my role as a mother.
On the contrary, I want my children to see that women can do many things and still be a great mother.
PV: If you could send a message to single mothers out there, what would you say?
Gaby: I would tell them: you are not alone. Every day is a challenge, but you are strong enough to overcome it. Believe in yourself, and always remember that the love you have for your children is the greatest strength.
