Teresa Giudice is so in love with her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom recently opened up to her eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, about her relationship and what drew her to the New Jersey entrepreneur in a candid chat on the Next Gen NYC cast member’s podcast.
Teresa appeared on Gia’s podcast, Casual Chaos, where she opened up about how she knew that Louie was “the one” after her divorce from Joe Giudice. “Just the way he treated me,” she told Gia in a May 14 podcast episode. “He was just like, everything was just easy, perfect…after three months, he did everything right…he treated me like a queen.”
Teresa also noted that she loved the way that Luis treated her four daughters, whom she shares with Joe. “I loved the way he treated you guys,” he told Gia. “And yeah, he tried to be the best person he could to be around us.”
Teresa and Louie first met at the Jersey Shore in 2020. The couple went Instagram official that December before getting engaged in October 2021. They then tied the knot in August 2022.

Teresa added that Louie “spoke really sweet” to her and her daughters, which was important to her. “I don’t ever want a guy cursing at you guys,” she told Gia. “Just like your dad would say curse words. I don’t like that.”
“Louie never curses,” she continued. “I love that. The way he speaks to me. Gives me compliments, you know? Your dad never did that. Like how Louie is with me, that’s how I want you guys to find a guy.”

“And that’s why I want whoever I have around me, I want you guys to admire that person [be]cause I want you guys to be with someone that treats you the same way Louie is treating me,” she continued. “Cause I wouldn’t want to be around a guy that treats me like s–t cause then you guys would be accepting that.”

The love flows both ways, Louie said the sweetest things about Teresa on Mother’s Day 2025. He took to his Instagram account, where he posted a photo of Teresa, wearing a dress covered in hot pink sequins, surrounded by the most gorgeous pink flowers. “Babe, on this Mother’s Day, I’m in awe of you,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
