See Why Teresa Giudice Is Calling Gia Out on Next Gen NYC: “We’re Recording…”

Gia Giudice may be on her own show now, but the Next Gen NYC cast member is still sharing glimpses of life with her mom, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice. And as Teresa proves in the above preview for Episode 4 of Next Gen NYC, you’re never too old to get called out by your mom. Even if it’s on camera. And a podcast.

When the cameras catch up with Gia and her mom in the clip, they’re sitting down in Teresa’s home studio for an episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables.

“Welcome back to Turning the Tables,” Teresa begins. At the same time, Gia checks the text messages popping up on her phone.

“Okay, okay,” the podcast host chides her daughter, “We’re recording!”

Gia quickly flips her phone over and gets back to business. “Hi guys,” she says with a sheepish smile.

So, why was Gia on her phone? In her defense, the answer’s pretty juicy.

As seen in the clip above, she’s responding to the news that Ariana Biermann finally found a place to call home in New York City.

Not just any place, either: She, along with boyfriend Hudson McLeroy, are able to settle on an apartment listed at a whopping $10,000 month in rent.

The information is relevant to Gia, who recently shared she plans to make a move of her own.

Is Gia Giudice moving out of Teresa’s house in New Jersey?
Gia is planning to move out of her mom’s house, but has some hesitation about moving to New York City.

In Next Gen NYC Episode 3, Gia explained her thought process in an interview.

“I’m for sure gonna move out,” said the Rutgers grad. “But I don’t think I ever want to move into the city.”

Even though “it’s beautiful from an aerial view,” and “beautiful when you take photos,” that’s about it when it comes to the pros, according to Gia.

But for the influencer, the cons of moving out of Teresa’s place and into NYC outweigh the beauty. “It doesn’t smell nice,” she said in the interview.

Basically, “It’s literally just gross.”

However, in a recent interview with Today, Gia explained she was reconsidering this now that she’s “in the city at least four times a week” for work.

As she looks for a new home, she explained, “I’m either going to do Manhattan or Jersey City. I’m gonna figure it out.”
