Cincinnati, Ohio – The city of Cincinnati honored comedian and actor Katt Williams on Saturday by unveiling a street sign named “Katt Williams Way” at the intersection of Reading Road and Maple Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood where he was born and raised.
The ceremony was emotional and filled with pride, with locals, fans, media and city officials gathering. It was not only a special milestone in Katt Williams’ career but also a tribute from the city to his great contributions to the arts, culture and community.

“This is where it all started,” Katt Williams said. “On these streets, I dreamed big – and now I’m back to say thank you.”

The Emmy-winning actor, known for his outstanding acting and daring stand-up comedy, has continued to make his mark in the American entertainment industry. Despite his global fame, Williams has never forgotten his roots in Avondale, the neighborhood that nurtured his passion and shaped his signature satirical style.

The naming of “Katt Williams Way” is part of an effort to honor influential figures from Cincinnati, while also inspiring local youth to pursue their passions and never give up on their dreams.

By officially honoring Katt Williams with a street name, he not only cements his status as an entertainment icon, but also makes his mark as a role model for overcoming adversity in the community where he grew up.
