“Wash your hands when you go to the subway” – Gracie Bon Fires Back at Backlash Over Her Controversial Subway Video

Recently, Gracie Bon – the well-known plus-size influencer – once again sparked debate online after posting a video of herself on the subway, titled: “Wash your hands when you go to the subway 👋🏾”.

What seemed like a harmless clip quickly became controversial when viewers noticed Gracie resting her oversized backside directly on a subway handrail. Many people online criticized the move, calling it unsanitary and inappropriate, especially since that handle is used by many passengers.

But Gracie didn’t stay silent. She hit back in a bold and unapologetic statement:

“Let me tell you something – do you know how many men go to the bathroom, touch their junk, don’t wash their hands, and then ride the subway holding that very handle? Some people use both hands in the bathroom, don’t wash, and still ride the train.”

She continued:

Unlike their filthy hands, I leaned my back and butt there because my hands were busy. And trust me, that part of my body is super clean and smells like vanilla. I guarantee it. I’m not one of those dirty people. If anything, some minds are dirtier than my body. People just hate seeing a curvy girl exist unapologetically.”

Gracie’s fiery clapback quickly ignited a wave of mixed reactions online. Some praised her for challenging double standards and defending body positivity, while others felt her action was still inappropriate in a public space.
