The Real Housewives of Orange County friend celebrated her daughter Skylar’s big day in a big way.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley’s daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley, is officially six years old! Gretchen’s daughter celebrated her birthday on July 10 and did it fabulously.

Gretchen took to Instagram on her daughter’s birthday, where she posted a video from her celebration at the lake. Gretchen put so much thought and attention into her set-up — from the happy birthday banner to the gifts laid out in the kitchen for when Skylar woke up in the morning.
Once she made her way into the kitchen, Skylar was shocked to see her presents, balloons, friends, and a stack of pancakes decorated with whipped cream and sprinkles. “Here is a sneak peek into this morning celebrating with some of our besties up at [the] lake!” Gretchen wrote in the caption of the post.
She added, “Our morning was filled with special birthday pancakes, lots of fun gifts, dancing, dogs, and of course, just plain silliness!”

Gretchen continued, penning the sweetest tribute to her little girl in the caption. “You are such a blessing and light in so many people’s lives Sky!” she noted. “You truly put a smile on everyone’s faces with your infectious laugh and spirit! God blessed us with the greatest gift when He gave us YOU.”
“You are such a bold, beautiful [and] brilliant young girl with so much heart, empathy, and love for everyone around you!” she concluded. “We couldn’t be more proud of you! Have the best day ever my little princess! Mommy [and] daddy love you soooo much!”
Gretchen’s friends then took to the comments of the post, where they shared their well wishes for the little girl. “HBD lil Sky! We love n miss you,” RHOC alum, Peggy Tanous, wrote.
“Happiest birthday sweet Skylar. You are a beautiful girl with a beautiful family,” Vicki Gunvalson added.
“Happy birthday to your darling daughter!!!” Shannon Storms Beador commented.
How Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley celebrated Skylar’s latest milestone
Skylar’s birthday isn’t the only moment that Gretchen and Slade are celebrating together. Gretchen took to Instagram in early June, where she revealed that Skylar had graduated from school, posting photos of her wearing her cap and gown, and leading her class in prayer.
“We are so grateful for her wonderful school who has nourished her soul in ways we could never say thank you enough,” she captioned the photo carousel. “She is becoming such a precious sweet young lady and we know a lot of it is because of the hands on care and love she receives from her amazing teachers.”
