It seems like just yesterday that Summer Leigh entered the world, but this week, she celebrated her very first trip around the sun! Her parents, Aventresca and Jesse_McBee, didn’t hold back in making sure their precious daughter’s milestone was one for the books, creating a heart-warming, love-filled family celebration that was as sweet as could be.
The couple curated a perfectly adorable theme for Summer’s big day, leaning into a “Berry 1st Birthday” concept. The venue was transformed with a vibrant, family-friendly color palette of reds, pinks, and creams, set against charming red-and-white checkered backdrops.

The decor was a true labor of love. An eye-catching multi-layered balloon arch, punctuated by massive foil strawberry balloons and lush faux greenery, served as the primary photo spot. Near the arch stood a custom backdrop sign, which clearly stated “Summer’s BERRY 1st Birthday”.
The dessert table was a berry lover’s dream. Guests were treated to an incredibly creative presentation of pink-frosted cupcakes, each topped with a single strawberry slice, displayed on a custom-made wooden palette crate set on actual wheels. The centerpiece, however, was Summer’s main cake—a stunning pink creation decorated with daisy-shaped flowers and larger-than-life fondant strawberries, crowned with a large white “1” and an unlit birthday candle.
The photos reveal a day filled with laughter and family love. A heartwarming family photo captures Aventresca holding a tiny Summer, alongside Jesse_McBee and a smiling older child, all in front of the festive balloon display. Another photo shows Summer herself, the absolute apple of her parents’ eye, looking sweet and alert in her high chair, perfectly in keeping with the ‘berry’ theme.
