The McBee family farm just got a little more crowded! The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star Steven McBee Jr. and his girlfriend, Allie Eklund, recently stumbled upon an unexpected surprise while exploring their sprawling property in Gallatin, Missouri.
Meet Tommy the Barn Cat
On April 14, Allie took her Instagram followers along for an impromptu rescue mission. After Steven mentioned hearing feline noises, Allie documented their search in a video, telling fans, “If we actually find one in the barn, then we now have a cat. Come with us.”
Their search was a success. The couple discovered a remarkably friendly, light-eyed cat who instantly warmed up to them. After being fed, the feline proved its immediate loyalty by tailing Steven around the property.
The verdict? “I think we have a cat now, babe,” Allie happily declared in the clip.

The Name: Taking to the comments, Allie revealed the stray has been officially named “Tommy.”
The Inspiration: On his own Instagram Story, Steven shared that the name is a nod to Tommy Shelby from the hit show Peaky Blinders. Despite admitting he’s “never been a cat person,” Steven joked that Tommy is a “bad mf’er” who will proudly watch over their barn.
The Reception: The official McBee Farm Instagram warmly welcomed Tommy, while Kacie Adkison chimed in noting that “Blair’s going to be pumped.”
This isn’t Allie’s first time uncovering hidden gems on the property; she also recently gave her followers a virtual tour of an “abandoned” house located right on the farm grounds.
From Birkins to Barn Animals
Tommy the cat isn’t the only newcomer to the McBee property. Back in March, Steven surprised Allie with an incredible birthday gift: a beautiful horse named AJ.
Sharing the big reveal on his Instagram Story, Steven posted a video holding the horse with the message, “This is your new horse, AJ. I guess he’ll be meeting you soon. Congratulations.”
He humorously captioned the post, “Might not be a Birkin, but I think this is a close second for a gift. We’ve got some riding to do!”
A Peaceful Romance
Beyond the growing animal menagerie, Steven and Allie’s relationship appears to be thriving. During BravoCon 2025, Steven caught up with The Daily Dish to share how much he is enjoying their romance since they first went Instagram official last November.
“Things have been great,” Steven shared. “It has been such a good experience dating someone that brings so much peace to my life and is integrated with my family so well. So it’s been really, really fun.”
