On Tuesday, our team responded to an unusual rescue mission—a python trapped inside a downpipe, possibly for several days! After trying multiple techniques, we realized the poor snake had looped back on itself three times and was completely stuck.

Rather than risk injuring it, we carefully unscrewed the entire pipe and rushed it—snake still inside—to the incredible Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. The vets placed the whole pipe in a warm enclosure overnight, hoping the heat would help.
🌞 And it worked!
By morning, the snake had warmed up, gained energy, and gently unraveled itself out of the pipe, completely unharmed.

The next day, we picked up both the snake and the pipe and returned to the customer’s home. They owned a large, beautiful property with native bushland and kindly requested we release the snake back into its natural habitat—right there. 🥹
A happy ending for both the snake and the pipe!
Huge thanks to the amazing team at Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, and to compassionate humans who truly respect wildlife.
