After more than two years apart, the Chrisley family is finally whole again. In their first update since being granted freedom, Todd Chrisley reveals how daughter Chloe is coping and the real reason Julie was absent from their recent press appearance.
NASHVILLE, TN – Tears of heartbreak have finally turned into tears of joy. Just days after receiving a bombshell pardon from President Donald Trump, Todd and Julie Chrisley are officially back in the arms of their loved ones.

During an emotional press conference in Nashville this past Friday, Todd Chrisley, 57, appeared alongside daughter Savannah. However, fans quickly noticed Julie’s absence. Addressing the empty seat, the reality TV patriarch shared a detail that pulled at the heartstrings of everyone in attendance.
“Julie is an incredible mother, a God-fearing woman I’ve been blessed to have for 30 years,” Todd told reporters. “The reason she isn’t here today is that she’s at home with Chloe. And Chloe… she refuses to leave her mother’s side for even a second.”
An Unbreakable Bond
According to Todd, 12-year-old Chloe—whom Todd and Julie legally adopted in 2016—faced significant emotional hurdles during her parents’ incarceration. Now that Julie is home, the pre-teen is reportedly making up for the 800-plus days they spent apart.

“She’s like her shadow,” Todd added with a relieved smile. “We are adjusting to our new normal, and Julie’s number one priority right now is healing the trauma our children have endured.”
Savannah Chrisley: The Family’s “Hero”
Todd also took a moment to praise Savannah, who stepped up as the primary guardian for both Chloe and Grayson while their parents served their sentences. He described her tireless legal advocacy and personal sacrifice as a “double-edged sword”—expressing immense pride while lamenting the heavy burden his daughter had to carry at such a young age.

The Next Chapter: “Back to Reality”
Despite the legal firestorm they’ve weathered, the Chrisleys don’t seem to be shying away from the spotlight. Todd confirmed that the family will soon return to television with a brand-new docuseries titled The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, slated to premiere this September on Lifetime.

“We have a bigger story to tell now,” Todd asserted. “What we witnessed in the prison system, what our family survived… it will all be shared. We’ve been blessed with a second chance to get it right.”
For now, the Chrisley home in Nashville is filled with laughter. After years of legal battles and sentences that once seemed like a lifetime, their biggest priority isn’t ratings—it’s family dinners and making sure Chloe finally has her mom there to tuck her in at night.
